Located just opposite the office block where i'm working, GLO is situated in The Garage alongside SS Club and Hana K-Bar. Being quite a freguent visitor there, i was wondering what GLO stands for. While chatting with the club manager on MSN yeaterday i popped up the question.

Emo : Don't call... don't call la... (hang up)

Looked my hp clock and it's only 11.30pm. The call apparently got me angry. Switch off my hp and went back to sleep.

Message In A Postcard

Last night's dinner was great...being the last day of Win Sern's holiday, mom cooked us a 3 dish 1 soup dinner. As I was clearing out the table after dinner, i saw this pink postcard with a very familiar handwriting. It says........

Dear Mom and Sis,

Now, there's only the two of you in the house. Don't get angry at each other. I'll be back soon.

To Mom : That postcard was addressed to me too. How come i was not aware of it.

To Bro : 'SOON' huh....like when...how soon is soon....?

After Some Questioning

Referring to my previous entry, I lost a little of the Saturday night to the liquors. Wanting to know what i did and did not do that night, i went for some questioning and this is what i got....

• Kern - You never talk crap but just walk like drunk people only. You talked to Pang like... VERY close. Hugged Hon and Steven who sent me home safely.
• Cheryl - Dunno what you spoke to KS but you both laughed. You walked in and out of the house a few times.
• Sofi - You guys drank 3 bottles of liquor i remembered (and i thought it was only 2). You talked crap to me and i was like....WTF. Keep on telling me you're drunk. Walked from one corner to another talking to people.

Ohhhh GAWD......to those people whom i've spoken to and forgotten....VERY SORRY....

Hennessy + Chivas + Beer = 1 Drunk Chick

The day started out very innocent. I went to work as usual with nothing to do. Spend almost half the day in the office doing nothing. Almost rot in the chair till a friend called to have lunch at around 3.30pm. I went all the way up to Bayan Lepas to have lunch, then hang out a bit in his office before we left around 6.00pm for dinner.

Reach the respective coffee shop at around 6.30pm. Not feeling so hungry yet, i only orderred a plate of char koay kak. Afraid that if i don't eat i will definately get drunk that night. After a few chats and then we parted and head home. I then showered and took a nap.

Kern then called after her dinner at around 11.30pm. I woke up and change into something just comfortable and yet not so lame for clubbing. I went and picked her up, on the way Kenny called and wanted to follow me to pick them. So he followed me to pick Kern and Cheryl. Supposed to pick Suki too, but that fella was too busy with some guy. Damn you Suki...aeroplane me.

Went to GLO and the first thing i did was took a few gulps of the beer handed by Jiam. Kenny then came in with Danny, they both opened a bottle of Hennessy. Kern and Cheryl bare drank the bottle. Danny went missing a while, leaving me and Kenny there with the bottle. Ben then turned up and got to know Kenny and the rest of the gang.

Ben was in hyper mood that night. Before even finishing the Hennessy, he ordered a bottle of Chivas. At the same time, Hon and Steven put a bucket of beer there and asked me to drink. I knew that time....i'm a gonna be gonez. I then pass my keys to Kern, seeing that she's still very much sober. That fella like cheated and didn't even drink.

In around 1 1/2 hours, all the booze there were cleared. Leaving me, drunk. Let me tell you what i can remember.

• taking a cup of lime juice from the bar for Ben.
• went to toilet.
• saw Pang and asked 'Lu ane ua lai cor hamik?'
• went to say good bye to Sofi (couldn't remember the exact words i said)
• saw Frankie and said 'How come i didn't see you tonight?' (totally forgot what he said to me)
• went into Hon's car.
• asking him to stop for me to finally vomit the crap out. I think i was some where along Gurney
• reached home and vomited again

There's a lot of the night which i couldn't remember. Anyone with the info please do let me know.

Kern's Birthday Cum Dancing Diva Finals

What a coincidence....everytime i go on stage to perform it must be someone's birthday. The first being Edison's, the second was mine, and the third is Kern's. Remember, i once shared the winning with two ladies on my birthday. Well, i was called to enter the finals. So i thought what the hell...i did it twice, what is the third. Being the prize was quite good.

So we gathered some friends to make the birthday celebration fun and also to support me. The club was full, i was told there was about 700 over people who turned up to watch the finals.

We were told the competition would start at 11.30pm but we were fooled. It didn't start till around 1am. All the contestants were called to the office and we were briefed what we can and cannot do. We draw lots to see who goes first and so on. After all said and done....all contestants are called to the stage.

The first...wow...she can move...her hips and her waise can move like Shakira. As a matter of fact, she chosed that Hips Don't Lie song. Fellas i can tell you...her hips never lies. They were fantastics...but easy to forget. Cos it was the same all the while.

Second came Nikki, the girl with the beautiful face. Nikki was ok...she danced to My Neck My Back, a very sexy and catchy tune to dance to. She just do her thing but also easy to forget. Just like the first, great dance move but not a good performance.

Third was me, never let me comment myself...i leave that to you guys who watched.

Fourth....you got to watch this. Her name is Stephanie...well i think. She is at least 3 times my size. Damn she's good. With her appearance...the crowd went wild.

Then the fifth, sixth, seventh and then the last Tiffany. Well her's is one hell of a performance. Check out the chick with the red thong. That's Tiffany. She even took out her bikini at one point. And was braless throughout the performance.


All four finallist have to get wet and work the crowd again.

The winner is quite clear, the first went to Stephanie. Second being Tiffany.

Taasha - 9 Months

Happy Birthday To Me~~

So...it's my birthday today. Eventually we have to do something about it right. So..last night me and a bunch of friends decided to celebrate my birthday in GLO considering that Edison's birthday there was a success.

I went there a little late, met up with a friend at a club earlier for some booze and chat. Everybody was there already...drinking the beers at the table then. As usual, every Wednesday GLO will have the Dancing Diva competition for the ladies there. There will be around 6 -7 girls up there dancing one by one to the song they choose and then decide the winner to the crowd cheers and the price is quite good, RM 555 and some vouchers too. Last night was a little special, each of us gets a ticket to the Rave party happening in Fort Conwallis this coming 22nd.

When the competition came to place. My friend....my VERY good friend pointed at me and the DJ pulled me up. I was tense a little i should say....but just a little as this is the 2nd time for me. The 1st was being Edison's birthday, I was set up by Pang then.

I was not prepared whatsoever, don't know which song to dance to. Randomly the DJ choose the girls one by one to dance. After 4 has done finishing their dance, then it was my turn. The DJ went like....next we have Melisa...and guys...its her birthday today...the crowd went wild. I have no idea how the DJ got to know its my birthday also. Then when asked to choose my song...i was still blur. So i said to the DJ...cincai la...whatever song you play i'll just dance to it. Then came Don't Cha by the PCD, then i start to do my thing.

Out of the 10 contestants, 3 was choosen to be finalist. The first was a couple of ladies then the one who can really shake her ass and then me. We then have to dance to another song all together. They have jugs of plain water ready for us to wet ourselves so we look more sexy. I have 2 jugs poured on me and then Jiam came and gave me a bucket of ice water....OOoooOOoo that was cold...The crowd went wild when the couple start kissing each other. Who won't love to see 2 girls kissing each other... i know i do.

So...finally when all was over, the DJ pull one by one and ask the crowd to cheer according to their liking. First came the kissing couple....the crowd went wild... Then the booty girl.....wow. Last but not least...me. It turned out to be a tie between me and the couple. We each got RM250.00, a Baptain Hair Saloon voucher, a tank top, and a Rave Party ticket. All worth getting wet for. As for the booty girl, she was given the same except for the cash, she got RM50.00.

The night was wet and wild, all thanks to my friends. It was one of the best birthdays i've ever celebrated. Thanks again to all of you who showed up and also those who supported me in the competition. You guys are the ones who gave me the RM250.00 birthday gift. Arigato.....

Stupid Girls

I think its time for you to stop. I know you know who you are. Do not try to act stupid or act cute. You are not Paris Hilton nor Nichole Richie. These people act stupid and earn cash, in millions. You...the more you act stupid the more you drive people away from you. Cause it's just getting so annoying as days goes by.

Its best to be yourself. Do not do things or act just to impress another. A true friend will accept you for who you are. We know that you are trying to get attention sometimes. Acting stupid and trying hard to be cute. We are all still here with you, is because we are your true friends. We hope that you will change to be a better person.

Today i had one of the most stupid conversation i've ever had on MSN. A conversation with no substance and not funny.

As usual i went out for lunch, collect some documents and then back to the office at around 3pm. Cheryl then msg me.......

Cheryl: Back liao mer....
Melisa: Hannor...just came back nia.

Then i changed my status to Busy as i was getting busy anyway.

Cheryl: Busy liao mer.....
Melisa: Hannor...today like fuck...damn busy.
Cheryl: Yaloh...somemore the weather is so hot outside.
Melisa: Yalah....cibai loh.
Cheryl: Cibai liao mer.....i like that....

History Repeats

I was raised in a family of five, where i have 2 very bright brothers. My elder brother, KY and my younger brother Win Sern. I was the middle one who always gets into trouble. KY will always bully me and Win Sern being mommy's pet always get me into trouble.


The 3 TEOHs

Back like almost 9 years ago, my elder brother decides to go to US for his degree. I remember we were all there to bid him good bye. It never occure to me that i will feel the missing portion if he's gone. I even feel happy thinking that finally the one who use to bully me is finally going away.

After spending sometime there at the airport he finally went on the plane. Me and the rest of the family went home and then it started to hit me. The house suddenly feels so empty. No one to fight with me for the sofa, no one to debate with me what channel to watch. I then went to the room and cried.

I am always proud to have him as my brother who's now staying in KL working his ass off. Always looking forward for his visits. Even my friends will see it from the look of my face, how happy i will be everytime he's coming back.


My beloved brothers.

Today history repeats itself. My little brother is leaving for Kelantan to join USM there. Being the most obedient of all he's no doubt the most protected among the 3 of us. We went for breakfast this morning before i drop him at the bus station. Spending some alone time with my little brother.

Hoping this day will come later or at least let time pass by a little slower, but it just seems so fast and so soon now that he has to leave. After dropping him at the bus station, as i was turning to head for work, I couldn't help myself but to turn and look at him. Then tears came rolling down. Couldn't help but worried will he able to cope with everything and how soon will he be back for the first visit. I guess I still see him as my little brother and he will always be my little brother.

Sometimes i just wish that we can turn back time, back to the days when we were still kids. Everybody staying under the same roof where we have no worries but being worried by. All the memories remains memories. Wonderful childhood i had with my brothers.


Kids.

I guess we have to accept the fact that everybody is growing up. Now the house seems even more empty, leaving just me and mom. We will always be looking forward for their visits and never stop worrying about their well being.

I love both my brothers and i am very proud of what they have become. They will always hold a special place in my heart, specially made by a sister to brothers.

Pantai Keracut

It has been almost 2 months since our trip to the other side of Penang Island, Pantai Keracut. I have heard of that place many many times but this is the first time i'm there. It's located somewhere at the end of Teluk Bahang. You can get there by taking a boat from the Teluk Bahang jetty or if you are athletic enough, you can hike all the way there. It should take around an hour or so...depends on your physical fitness.

So, our trip started out not as well as we thought. The guys were almost an hour late, our friend brought his pet dog which then later have to be send home by his sister. After all the huru-hara and some breakfast. We then went up the boat and head to Pantai Keracut.

As usual we reached there full of excitement. We were supposed to have 2 tents but we ended up with 1 perfect one...for the girls, definately and a cacat one. All because they couldn't find the metal thing which give the tent support. After setting up everything, we went fishing. Me, Yeow, Jimmy decided to go to the spot which we feel there's fish. Kern and Edison then tag along. We were enjoying our fishing when Pang came to crash the party by walking on the edge of the water. We went like...ARGHHHHH...that fella scare away all the fishes. Eventually, i believe in karma...Pang got punished for what he did. He got buried.

With all the playing and the joking under the hot sun. We soon got tired and hungry. So one by one went and get ourselves a good shower and then get ready to cook some food. Edison says he's a 'cong por' (a cook in hokkien) so we let him do all the 'hard' work. He started out by getting the fire started with charcoal and stuff. We waited and waited for the water to get boiled which it didn't. Then Ah Bit came, without even waiting for the water to get boiled, he threw 2 maggie mee inside. WAH.....damn....me and Kern took a look at him.

Then...our saviour came to the rescue. With a switch of the gas....he cook us a decent meal consist of maggie mee and mushroom soup. Pang....we just love you for that....and that only. After eating, Yeow (the fisherman), Jimmy (the amature fisherman), Kern (Mrs. Fisherman), Edison (the troublemaker) and Tong (sleeping beauty) decided to go fishing at the other end of the beach leaving me, Pang and Ah Bit.

Me and Pang decide to take a nap during that time but was unable to do so due to the disturbance Ah Bit was causing. With Edison's HP, he was wearing the ear piece listening to the MP3s and singing to himself. Can you imagine that, he was singing the songs all out of tune, so loud cos he can't hear himself, even the neighbours couldn't tahan and laugh at him. Soon after Pang couldn't handle it anymore and decide to start the fire to prepare for dinner. Ah Bit eventually went close to Pang, with his eyes staring at him and continue singing his lungs out. Damn...was that the highlight of the trip.



Yumm....

As the days turn into night, we have our dinner then group together like all campers do. We chat about the day and joke around. With only one good tent to sleep in, the guys went to the bridge. Leaving me, Kern and Ah Bit. After a nap, me and Kern went to look for them. Wow the bridge was full of people and it was cold too.

Pang and Edison team up to disturbed Jimmy, not wanting him to sleep. They then eventually got tired and want to sleep themselves. The girls beside Edison have this very comfortable blanket, so he...went closer and closer and eventually sleep beside the strangers. Crazy fella.

The trip eventually came to a near end in the morning. We pack out things getting ready to leave the beach. While waiting for the boat to come pick us. Kern brother came and join us for a while. Then it started to rain......

Wouldn't it be more fun if it rained during the night......?

We're looking forward to another trip there. It was hell a lot of fun.

Introducing - Edison

As tomorrow, June 22nd, our friend Edison is celebrating his 24th birthday. I just think i will introduce him to all of you out there.

I recently got to know this fella through the ever famous Stuart Little (see entry STUART lil OR lil STUART). A funny guy who will make a scene anywhere, anytime together with his team mate PANG. The both are simply a fun pair to be with.

By the way, the name Edison Tan sound very much like the famous singer/actor Edison Chan. Apparently they are both as equally famous. This fella knows a lot of people and quite a shopper too. I remember there was once, when we were planning for a camping trip. I accompanied him to buy a new bag. We walked into the shop, and walla....after 5 mins...new bag. Without even asking how much it costs or check to see the bag is all intact, he asked the auntie to wrap it up, paid then leave. After that we went to Giant, he opened up the bag to store some stuff. He realised...ohhhhh so many compartment....ok mer....beh pnai....Damn..he's lucky it turns out good, what if its the other way around.

Some say Edison looks a bit like that fella from Sesame Street, Ernie. Well i think they both are equally funny as one can be. And the same hairstyle too.

Well, to all you ladies out there, Edison is VERY much available. A funny guy who will make anyone's day bright just by....erm....acting silly. He's quite good looking too..i would say...cute.
